The Dragon is mad. But in Christ, there is nothing but total triumph for you … now and forever.
Advent is not just a season of lights and celebration … a fuzzy, warm, magical sentiment. Christ coming into our world pronounces a sentence of doom upon all darkness and has set in motion a process which is transforming everything!
Advent of course is the anticipation of celebrating Christ’s birth. In the weeks leading to Christmas we contemplate the incarnation—the profound mystery of God becoming man.
He came in lowliness. And yet he modeled Kingdom rule.
He continues to come in fullness and power throughout the Body of Christ… “the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ” is filling the Church through time (Ephesians 4:13).
And of course, we anticipate His coming again—there will be a revelation of Christ again, this time in overwhelming rule and perfect completeness.
Jesus is no longer a baby. He is filling all things. Even now, he is the cosmic Christ (invest time in the New Testament books of Ephesians and Colossians).
