Happy guilt-free power napping! This secret may be the most effective way to rejuvenate your brain and counter that afternoon tired feeling.
It’s in the science. The key is napping into the 2nd phase of the 4-part sleep cycle, about 20 minutes. A nap that is too short won’t help. And we’ll most likely feel groggy and tired if we nap too long.
Timing is important too. To get a power nap and not just a nap, late morning or early afternoon is the target zone we want (LifeHacker).
This is one way we can use cadence in our everyday schedule.
