What’s the better stance for you?
- I know exactly where I’m going and how to get there. I’ve developed a bulletproof plan.
- I can’t tell you precisely what’s going to happen, but I have a deep-down sense of what it is, and I’m open to what’s emerging in my life.
Welcome these times and seasons in your life: You want what the Creator’s designing, but you’re absolutely clueless as to “how” to get there.
Abraham was a consummate entrepreneur. He was more than just a start-up or business entrepreneur as we know it today. Eternity touched his core … he was a history-shaper in close partnership with the Creator.
By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed by going out to a place which he was to receive for an inheritance; and he went out, not knowing where he was going … for he was looking for the city which has foundations, whose architect and builder is God (Hebrews 11:8, 10).
Abraham put everything behind him and was on a quest for what God was designing. This will always be more than what we think we are seeing for our lives.
Create life-coordinates with the Creator
The big-adult mind knows exactly what to do and how to do it.
The beginner’s mind is open to new possibilities which are way beyond normal thinking. It’s the mind of a child – questing, questioning, welcoming, learning.
The beginner’s mind is an approach to life that is open, boundless, limitless, and infinitely wealthy
What will you do? Make your bulletproof plan for what you think you’re seeing? Or will you walk away from what you’ve known, advancing into what God’s designing.
Our deep core will give us clues and let us know how things are going.
Then, as we establish our life-coordinates with the Creator by faith, he will give us a lead and show us the HOW.
